Several companies have taken over this liquor over the years and finally, in 1999 Miller Company got ownership. In the same year, Conan O’Brien gave 40 of it to Martha Stewart on TV. OE is the colloquial name of  Olde English beer and it contained the highest level of alcohol which was 7.5% beating Colt 45’s at 5.6% and St. Ides’ at 7.3%.
